Carlos Augusto Salamonde is the Head of Investment Services & Operations since July 27^th, 2018. Carlos has 25 years of experience in the financial market, in the businesses of Asset Management and Securities Services, and returns to Itaú Unibanco after assignments in other institutions. During the previous 5 years, Carlos has been the CEO of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, having under his responsibilities the Securities Services business for Latin America and Caribbean markets. Before that, he has been the CEO of JP Morgan Brazil Asset Management for 3 years. Along his career, Carlos has contributed a lot in several forums at Brazilian Markets Association (ANBIMA) for the development of the Brazilian Securities Services environment, and currently is the president of Qualified Services Committee at ANBIMA. He is graduated in Economy at Pontifícia Universidade Católica (Rio de Janeiro) and has a MBA degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Rio de Janeiro).
