Devin Banerjee

Devin Banerjee, CFA is the senior financial services editor at LinkedIn, overseeing finance reporting and editorial strategy for the world’s largest professional networking platform. LinkedIn had more than 660 million members in more than 200 countries as of October 2019.

Previously, Banerjee oversaw Bloomberg’s coverage of North American dealmaking, including the private equity industry, corporate M&A, capital markets and shareholder activism. Before that, as a reporter, he was responsible for covering the private equity industry for Bloomberg News. He also contributed to Bloomberg Businessweek, Bloomberg Markets and Bloomberg Television.

His previous writing appeared in The Wall Street Journal, reporting from New Delhi; the San Jose Mercury News; Korea JoongAng Daily, reporting in Seoul; and The Stanford Daily, where he was president and editor-in-chief. Via Bloomberg’s wire service, his articles also were published by The Washington Post, Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle and Canada’s three largest newspapers, The Globe and Mail, National Post and Toronto Star.

Banerjee received a B.S. in Management Science & Engineering, with honors, from Stanford University. He also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
