Sean McManus regularly advises CEOs in the areas of thought leadership, communications strategy, and international affairs. He was previously director of programs at The Economist, leading conferences and custom content, as well as The Atlantic, where he launched the conference business for their digital platform, Quartz. He is the co-founder of several new media and nonprofit initiatives including the Arts Funders Forum, World Climate Tech Summit, and Fast Government. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, New York magazine, Fast Company, and many others.

Sean has a master’s degree in US History and was a teaching assistant for Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
