Robert Rankin

Chairman, Co-Founder and Partner, Altero Capital Partners. Previously, Rob served as Global Co-Head of the Investment Bank at Deutsche Bank, CEO of Deutsche Bank Asia-Pacific and member of the Group Executive Committee.  He was a Member of the Board of UBS Investment Bank and Head of UBS Investment Banking Asia-Pacific. He was also CEO of Consolidated Press Holdings a media and gaming focussed investment company.

Rob has over 30 years of investment banking and corporate experience and has built and managed two bulge bracket investment banking franchises.

Rob has been based in London, Hong Kong and Sydney during his career. He is a board member and advisory board member to various companies. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and Law from the University of Sydney.
