Michael Redd

From the hardwood to the boardroom, Michael Redd’s vision is undeniable. 

A Columbus, OH, native, Redd spent three seasons at Ohio State University, leading the Buckeyes to the Final Four in 1999, before being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2000 NBA Draft. Over a 12-year NBA career, Redd established himself as one of the league’s premier marksmen, a natural scorer, diligent worker, and reliable teammate. 

Since his retirement in 2013, the former All-Star has embarked on a journey of building, developing, and investing in tech-focused startups. He founded his own venture firm, 22 Ventures, and is a venture partner at ADvantage Sports Tech Fund. Additionally, Redd serves as a National Advisory Board Member at The Salvation Army.

The Olympic Gold Medalist also hosts the podcast “Betting on Yourself,” which explores the stories of successful entrepreneurs and athletes by unpacking the risks they needed to take in order to reach their goals, and is active on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
