Who will attend?

The Cayman Alternative Investment Summit (CAIS) brings together global industry leaders and decision makers from multiple segments of the alternative investment industry. Institutional investors; private investors; asset allocators; fund managers; financial, legal and compliance service providers; academics; and regulators will benefit from attending this discussion forum.

How do I register?

Registration is on a first come, first served basis and is subject to availability. The registration fee is one delegate’s access to CAIS20 including general session, keynote address and dinner on February 6 general session and keynote address on February 7, all conference materials, lunch on each day of the conference and refreshments as indicated.

Online registration will open in September 2019. Payment is facilitated through online registration.

What is the cancellation policy?

Should you no longer be able to attend the Conference, you can cancel your registration and receive a full refund, less a $125 administration fee up to December 20 2019. From December 20 2019 to January 17 2020 you can cancel your registration and receive a 50 % refund. From January 18 2020 onwards you will not be entitled to a refund.

Cancelling your CAIS Conference registration will not cancel any hotel and/or travel arrangements. You are responsible for cancelling any and all hotel and travel reservations.

CAIS bears no responsibility for Conference attendees’ travel and/or accommodation arrangements, unless specifically agreed in writing.

Note, your pass is non-transferable and due to venue limitations we cannot accommodate additional guests; all CAIS functions are for registered guests only.

Can I transfer my pass?

Ticket transfers or credit substitutions are not permitted.

Can my partner or guest attend one of the dinners, functions or sessions?

Due to venue limitations all CAIS functions are for registered delegates only.


There are a number of flights to Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport from the major carriers including Cayman Airways, American Airlines, British Airways, United, US Airways, Delta, JetBlue and WestJet.

What is the conference attire?

Suggested attire for the Conference is business-casual.

Can I record the sessions or take photographs?

Photographs can be taken by approved Conference photographers only. The sessions will be videotaped by approved service providers and selections from the sessions will be available after the Conference. Absolutely no personal photographs or audio/visual recording is permitted. For questions regarding the media policy, please contact pro-dart-cais@prosek.com.

Is there a group discount?

If you purchase five (5) or more delegate passes at the full rate, you will automatically receive a $100 discount applicable against each registered person. To receive this Group Discount, you will be required to purchase a minimum of five (5) Conference passes within one (1) wire transfer in a single transaction. At the time of purchase, you will be sent, via email, a unique Registration Code that you can distribute to the respective individuals in your group. Each individual will be required to enter this group Registration Code as they begin their registration process.

What is the nearest airport?

Owen Roberts International Airport, Grand Cayman (GCM) is the nearest airport — approximately 10 minutes’ drive away. We recommend Island Air Cayman’s “Meet and Greet Airport Service” and Majestic Transport (345) 949 7773 for transportation to the Conference venue.
