Kerem Ozmen

Kerem has over 8 years of investment experience and has led 4 venture capital funds over his career that have each achieved top 10% performance across their respective vintages. Kerem has led investments in market leaders including Groww (350x MOIC), Self (60x MOIC), Frubana (156x MOIC), and Snappt (55x MOIC) among others.

Prior to 8090, Kerem was a Founding Partner and Managing Director for both Kairos 2018 K50 Fund I (5.1x MOIC) and 2019 K50 Fund II (4.3x MOIC), where he sourced over 4,000 global opportunities and invested in leading seed-stage startups from around the world each year. The first K50 fund was benchmarked within the top 1% of relative fund performance globally, and showcased at the top of the World Trade Center with national media recognition from Inc Magazine, CBS, and others.

Kerem was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Earlier in his career, he has held multiple positions as a project manager and assistant program manager at his family’s operating business Sierra Nevada Corporation. Kerem has also led his family office investment arm Ozmen Ventures as the Managing Director.

Kerem Ozmen is the current Co-Founder and CEO of 8090 Industries. 8090 Industries focuses on investing in and accelerating breakthrough companies in the decarbonization, aerospace, and deep tech spheres. The firm has partnered with over 25 of the largest industrial leaders in the world today, and has grown to over $250M AUM since 2020.
